About Me

Writing CODA Spy has been an act of love, dedicated to my Deaf parents, bringing back many cherished memories growing up CODA.

I’m a retired ASL interpreter who worked in settings ranging from classrooms (kindergarten through graduate school) to hospitals, courtrooms, the IRS, and video relay interpreting. Along the way, I also taught high school English for five years, sandwiched between interpreting assignments.

When I’m not writing, I love traveling with my husband, reading, soap-making, and experimenting in my kitchen. CODA Spy is my first novel, and I’m excited to share it with readers who enjoy fast-paced stories rooted in authentic Deaf culture.

CODA Spy is full of secrets but your emails don’t have to be. I’d love to hear from you!
